IOM TT '07 centennial review
An online exclusive from Classic Racer
Introduction by Malcolm Wheeler
Celebrating 100 years of the TT.
After 99 years of preparation the centenary of the TT has come, and gone.
Classic Racer was there to bring you all the news, all the sights and all the atmosphere of everything classic at the 07 TT. The only thing missing is the smells.
We'll accompany the article with probably the largest gallery of TT images from 2007!
To whet your appitite, here are a few choice shots from the TT 1907 re-enactment, and two other classics!
Photographs by Julie Wheeler

Before young Guy Martin got down to the serious business of trying to win the 2007 TT he enjoyed celebrating the 1907 race, by riding out in the re-enactment on one of organiser Tony East’s Triumphs. Needless to say he was first back.

The expression on Rudge man Mike Griffiths face says it all. Everyone who experienced the 07 re-enactment at St Johns considered it the highlight of TT 2007.

George Cohen leads of from St Johns on the 1907 TT winning Norton that he recovered from the ashes of the National Motorcycle Museum fire.

Never far away when there is fancy dress to be worn Dave McMahon gets the appreciation of the crowd as he sends the Rudge away from the start.

Classic Racer’s very own Tommy Robb passes the time of day with Italian heartthrob Giacomo Agostini as they wait for the start of the Parade of Champions.

All the way from Australia to ride in the TT parades came former TT winner and World Champion Barry Smith seen here on the Thompson Suzuki.
