Regulations and Entry Forms for the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races are available now to download from the organiser’s official website www.southern100.com
The 2017 meeting will take place on Friday, Saturday and Bank Holiday Monday, May 26, 27 and 29 on the Billown Course in the south of the Isle of Man and kick-starts the annual TT Festival.
The nine-race programme caters for 250/350cc Single cylinder machines; 250cc Lightweight; 350cc Junior; 500cc Senior; 850cc Classic; Junior and Senior Superbikes, plus the ever-popular sidecars, which includes a round of the prestigious Camathias Cup series. The total prize fund for the 2017 Blackford Pre-TT Classic Road Races totals over £13,000.

First run in 1988, classics have become synonymous with close, competitive racing, as well as bringing a touch of nostalgia, along with the exotic sounds and smells of past racing eras.
The enthusiasm and atmosphere is also special around the Billown circuit during the Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic meeting as spectators and enthusiasts mingle with the ever-growing number of competitors.
The event is capped on the Tuesday after the races by a unique open air Concours d’Elegance of Racing Machines in Castletown Square, where many of the machines are fired-up for everyone’s enjoyment. This is followed by the prize presentation of the numerous trophies dedicated to the Blackford Financial Services Pre-TT Classic Road Races.
