A Great Event
By: Web Editor
G’day Malc,...It was great to see so many pages devoted to the Post Classic racing scene in Australia and Sally Salter’s take on the Phillip Island Classic.
I have been going along for a few years, this year as a competitor on my TT2 replica and it really is a wonderful event, significantly better for the huge UK and NZ contingents that turn up.
The unlimited competition this year was fierce, but you should have included a picture of Cam Donald. To be able to jump off the right-hand gearchange McIntosh Manx Norton, sprint down pit lane and climb straight onto the left-hand gearchange XR69 for the next race, and win against the like of Jeremy McWilliams speaks volumes for his skill.
